The backlit screen is an absolute lifesaver. Half the comms cupboards I work in have terrible lighting, and being able to clearly read the PoE voltage and cable length without holding a torch in my mouth is brilliant.
Finally, a tester with Type-C charging! I was so tired of buying 9V batteries every month for my old Fluke. The port flash feature is incredibly responsive and saves me hours on large office fit-outs.
Bought this for a massive residential AV install. Tracing 40+ Cat6 runs was a breeze with the remote IDs. The build quality feels solid, easily on par with tools twice the price.
Great bit of kit overall. The NCV function is handy for quick safety checks. My only minor gripe is that the carrying case is a bit tight if you want to store your own longer patch leads in there too.
The length measurement accuracy is spot on. Verified it against a known 50m run and it measured 50.2m. The fact it does PoE load testing as well makes it the only tester I carry now.
